Wisconsin Legislation on Rights for the Terminally Ill
Wisconsin, not exactly the state you would expect to consider legislation extending new rights to the terminally ill. And you would be mostly right. Except for A.B. 461.The bill would direct the Department of Natural Resources to "treat an individual as a resident for purposes of determining the person's eligibility for and cost of obtaining a hunting approval" if the individual "is terminally ill and is participating in a hunting-related event sponsored by a charitable organization."
